Hello Amy -
I'm from Drumright, and don't get back there VERY often; however, I am interested in your Carroll if you say your father is buried in the Drumright Cemetery.  I'm not familiar with any of those names...i.e. Dorothy, Sue, Loramae, Joe, or Richard.  There were a lot of Carroll's around Drumright.  It would be fun to learn more about this group.  Is there more that you can tell me?

Next time I'm in Drumright I can do some checking.

Hi...what I know is very limited, but I do know a little.

The father of them is Alva Carroll. The mother Is Chloe Mary or it may be reversed, Mary Chloe McGinty. They were married in Creek county on 4/26/1919. Richard, I know, was born on 4/9/1935. I'm not sure about the others. Richard was killed on 7/15/1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah and brought back to Drumright to be buried.

He has 2 children by a previous marriage (2 boys) and I have a daughter by him. At one time his sister worked in a grocery store in Drumright. Her name was Dorothy. I can't remember her married name. Sue, lived in Tulsa in 1970. I think she was married to Virgil Cox. Lora Mae lived in Moses Lake, Washington, in 1970. Joe lived in Tulsa too and worked at the laundry there.

I would appreciate any info you can get for me. I live in Alabama and its kind of hard for me to get all the info i need.

Thanks ever so for responding...
