A wonderful source for Ballew family
information and help is the:
Message from the President, Thomas M. Ballew, Spring 1994: "Our membership continues to increase as we make discoveries about our heritage. Our annual journal contains inquiries, lineage charts, family exchange information, queries, schedule of family reunions held during the year, and the names and addresses of Ballews, Bellews, Ballous, Belues, Ballows, Belyeus, Blues, etc. nationwide ready to help you with your genealogy research. We have reporters in many regions gathering and submitting information to benefit our association and further our search for missing links in the "family chain". We could use more "volunteers" to help in this endeavor." Below information from Don Barry, Source Coordinator, Ballew Family Association, e-mail 1/14/99. Membership, 1999, "The Ballew Association dropped the $25 initiation fee last year during an officers meeting at the Blairsville Reunion. Anyone can now join for just $10 for the year. This has to be one of the best deals around. Membership Dues or inquiries should be addressed to our Treasurer: Paul Ballew Clips from an old issue of the Ballew Journal:
