Ballew Cousins
In September 1997, two other researchers of the Ballew surname contacted me through the Internet, our first common ancestor being William Decatur Ballew. We have agreed to pool the information that we have collected separately and use this site as a means to focus corporately on clearing up "disconnects" due to hearsay and/or recording errors.

The researchers, other than myself, are:

    November 1997:
    Tamara Ibarra has sent the following article which shows a tremendous amount of research on her part with contribution from Nancy Boyd and other family members.

    She also sent a poem written in about 1907 by J. Frank Ballew, son of William Decatur Ballew.
